NECA Contractors are committed investing in training, safety, and education. As proof of their commitment, they are one of the two sponsors of the NECA/IBEW Apprenticeship Program. In conjunction with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) the sponsors have created a model apprenticeship program resulting in program that has graduated of 350,000 electricians across the country.

Training

The NECA/IBEW Apprenticeship Program provides training and education to those interested in becoming Journeyman Wireman Electricians. As a NECA/IBEW apprentice, the apprentice attends classes and are paid for their hours, both in the classroom and on the job site. The apprenticeship program is also taught by the best instructors who have experience in the field of training. The program is focused on mastering core competencies, code and safety standards, and on the job training for real-world experience in various sectors of the industry. The result of the apprenticeship program yields the best Journeyman Wireman electricians in the electrical construction industry with a consistent and well-rounded skillset that can be applied anywhere in the country on any job site.
